LEOCEM donates 150 bags of cement for the reconstruction of Don Bosco Girls shelter

Sierra leoneans across the country have been very much supportive to calls of Don Bosco Fambul following the devastating fire incident that brought down the only Girls shelter meant for sexually and physically abused girls in the country to ashes.

Mr Stefano Gallini is the Managing Director of a local cement producing company in Sierra Leone known as LEOCEM today responded to the calls of Don Bosco for the reconstruction of its Girls shelter by donating 150 bags of cements worth seven Million five hundred thousand leones( le 7,500,00). This donation according to Mr Gallini is part of the company’s cooperate social responsibility to the people of sierra leone and especially to the Girls shelter at Don Bosco at this moment when the girls are on recovery process.

On behalf of Don Bosco Fr Jorge Crisafulli the Director of the organization expressed his thanks and appreciation to LEOCEM for their timely intervention and still continue to call on companies, agencies, banks and individuals to support the reconstruction of the Girls shelter as its still a long way to go.
