Hope Plus delivers food assistance to beneficiaries

Last Friday, the department delivered food assistance its beneficiaries. This was in the form of one hundred bags of 50kg of rice to hundred (100) beneficiaries. The selected beneficiaries are the vulnerable among the group currently undergoing skills training.

The purpose of this food assistance was to alleviate short term hunger. Increasing retention in training centers and in schools is also part of the plan. It will also reduce the pressure beneficiaries experience to shoulder expenses on food and smoothen learning and training. All the beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude to Don Bosco for this assistance.

HOPE PLUS is a department in Don Bosco Fambul in Sierra Leone that is rolling out skills training support. Also it is giving scholarship to vulnerable girls as well as minors in a situation of prostitution.

The project targets a total of one hundred and fifty girls (150) for skills training support. Also a total of one hundred and fifty (150) girls for scholarships.
