DON BOSCO FAMBUL EMPOWERED 250 YOUNG ADULT GIRLS

WITH DON BOSCO FAMBUL THE FUTURE OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN SIERRA LEONE IS BRIGHT

Today marks another mile stone in the history of human capital development in Sierra Leone and the contribution of Don Bosco Fambul to towards achieving that same.

Don Bosco Fambul under the Hope Plus Project today Friday 22nd January celebrate over 200 young adult women who graduated in different skills training across vocational institutions in Freetown and its environs. The Hope Plus project was designed by the current Youth Empowerment passionate Director, father  Jorge Mario Crisafulli in 2018 to see how best the Don Bosco family could ameliorate the rate at which young girls in anti social situation and life style not dovetailing with the teaching of God and our Lord Jesus Christ. These girls were identified by the Don Bosco on Wheels project otherwise known as Mobil department and then handed over to the Hope Plus department for onward action. Some are placed in formal education and other in skills training and the placement is always determined by the beneficiaries and not by the coordinator neither the Director.

Today those who opted to be placed in vocational training centres have graduated and certificates awarded them in front of their parents and the Commissioner of the National Youth Commissioner, Mr Ngolo Katta

One of the beneficiaries, when giving the vote of thanks, thanked the management of the Don Bosco and the Silesian Family including the donor partners for changing their lives. She further thanked the  resilient Director, Father Jorge Mario Crisafulli and the courageous Coordinator nod the Hope Plus Project Mr Sahr David Brima for his patience and courage in making sure they achieved their success their by changing their lives.
