Don Bosco celebrates 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence in Sierra Leone

Celebrating resilience and advocacy during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence in Sierra Leone. Our beneficiary, a courageous film protagonist, takes center stage at the Freetown City Council Hall, hosted by European Union in Sierra Leone and Think-Film Impact Production. The poignant film, showcasing the inspirational story of Aminata Jalloh, captivates hearts. Thanks to Amaia Remirez and Raul de la fuente for directing the film. Post-screening, a distinguished panel featuring the Minister of Ministry of Gender and Children’s Affairs-SL, and representatives from UN WOMEN SierraLeone, Rainbo Initiative, UNICEF, and our director, Fr. Piotr Wojnarowaki, with our social worker Mabinty Mary Kawa engages in a profound discussion. Together, we amplify voices, ignite change, and stand united against the challenges faced.
