Don Bosco Fambul Hospital
Since July 2020, the hospital has operated within a well-constructed facility on the new Fambul compound. Boasting a doctor’s office, nurses’ station, pharmacy, laboratory room, dentist room, operation theatre, and hospitalization facilities, our hospital provides essential primary healthcare services to our beneficiaries, surrounding community and our dedicated staffs
Overcoming the challenge of accessing quality healthcare, the hospital officially earned certification from the Ministry of Health and Sanitation and the Medical and Dental Council of Sierra Leone in 2021, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to community well-being.
In collaboration with generous donors and medical organizations from Europe, the hospital has orchestrated vital and life-saving surgical interventions within correctional centers and communities across Sierra Leone. These interventions include cataract surgeries, dental surgeries, cleft palate surgeries, hernia surgeries, and more.
Our hospital is equipped to handle a range of healthcare needs with trained, qualified, and experienced professionals dedicated to delivering quality healthcare. The team includes a Hospital Manager, a Medical Doctor, 1 Community Health Officer (CHO), 4 Nurses, and 2 Janitors.
