PROVINCIAL DEVELOPMENT ORGANISM - PDO ANTENNA SALONE / LIBERIA
The Salesians of Don Bosco PDO – Antenna Sierra Leone is the local body that implements the Salesian mission in Sierra Leone and Liberia primarily through projects like Don Bosco Fambul. It focuses on the integral development and empowerment of vulnerable children and youth. Its core activities include protecting and rehabilitating at-risk children, providing holistic care (shelter, medical, psychological), and offering education and vocational training (TVET) to ensure they gain skills for self-reliance. Essentially, it is the strategic link for planning and implementing sustainable projects to transform the lives of the poorest youth.
MISSION
To educate, train, form, inspire and empower young people towards human, social, and spiritual growth in line with goals of the International Cooperation for Development.
VISION
To use the rich cultural and traditional values of West Africa to enhance, through the principles of faith as lived by Don Bosco, the integral transformation of children and young people who are victim of ethnic and religious conflicts, widespread poverty and abuse of human rights.

Our educational and pastoral works in Sierra Leone and Liberia are primarily manifested through Technical and Vocational Training Centres, designed to empower young people with employable skills. These initiatives respond to the needs of countries in post-war reconstruction and youth development. We also run child protection and rehabilitation programmes for children at risk and former child soldiers, along with youth centres and pastoral activities that nurture faith, education, and social reintegration.
CHILDREN & YOUTH AT RISK
• Shelter, Support and Rehabilitation of children and women trafficked for forced labor and sexual exploitation. • Protection and development of children and youth at various forms of risk.
EDUCATION
• Infrastructure for Rural Primary and Basic Education, Secondary Education. • Support and Sponsorship for Formal Education for the deprived and underpriviledged young people. • Technical and Vocational Education and Trainings {TVET}.
SOCIAL PASTORAL SUPPORT
•Social support and development for communities and families in very difficult situations. • Rural Social Development {potable water, women empowerment, etc.}. • Evangelization and Pastoral Formation and gudiance for the willing faithful.
HEALTH SERVICES
• Basic health support and assistance. • Sensitization and Health Awarness Campaign.
