As Sierra Leone is currently experiencing the Delta Variant which according to the World Health Organization is the third wave of the Covid-19 Pandemic, Don Bosco Fambul with support from the Atabal Foundation in Spain initiated a robust awareness raising and prevention campaign to help the citizenry contacting the deadly third wave. On the above date at the Western Area Rural District. The Don Bosco Fambul Team headed by Mr Murray Massaquoi engaged 17 communities on the dangers of the Delta Variant and it antecedent devastating consequences. Preventive gears including facemasks, hand sanitizers, gel soap and wall bills demonstrating preventive measures were distributed to tribal heads at the end of each engagement.
The participant from the various communities engaged thanked Don Bosco Fambul for taking such awareness to their doorsteps as most of them were ignorant of the third wave of the pandemic
